Percy and Richard Avery with their parents Anne Marie and David. Owners of Avery Stores in Shipton. Percy is on the left. He was the father of Vic Avery. Dick ran a butchers in the present day Lamb Inn until the late 1950s. David Avery married Anne Marie Townsend the daughter of Peter Townsend who owned the strores and vehicle rental company. The picture was taken in front of the corner house on Ascott Road ie currently (summer 2020) occupied by the Pearces
